Laurie + Jordan {expecting!}

We are all so excited for Baby G to make an appearance on/before/after January 30^th – he or she is already such a loved baby.  Jordan (my older brother) and his wife Laurie (one of my most favorite people ever) have recently moved to the Madison area, which has made watching them prepare for their new little such an amazing experience.  I am thrilled to be an aunt to their baby and I can't wait to love up on the little one!

Dana + Ben {engaged!}

It may or may not have been -10 degrees outside, but that didn't stop us from heading to the UW Madison Union Terrace to celebrate the engagement of Dana + Ben!  Dana + Ben are both teachers in the Madison School District and their relationship first started on these grounds- Bascom Hill, in front of the red doors of the Education Building, and arguably the best place on campus, the terrace. Although it wasn't packed with crowds of people, socializing with pitchers of beer on the bright chairs, the spirit of the terrace was still there as Dana + Ben cuddled up for some cute photos.

The pier was roped off, it was slippery and freezing so close to the water,
but I love that we risked it and got these shots :)

July 26th can't come soon enough- it's going to be the best! I love you both- you are two genuinely good people and I am grateful for our friendship. And despite the cold temps, it was so fun to take these photographs with you! xo

  

{Kristine + Chris are getting married!}

Seriously, how adorable are these two?  Kristine and I have been friends for a number of years now (and roomies at one point!) and she is just glowing in excitement to marry Chris.  We had a wonderful day exploring downtown Madison and at a little park near the UW Arboretum.  Congrats you two- I'm so excited to celebrate with you in the fall!

{Parker and Carolyn- engaged!}

Parker + Carolyn.  The soon-to-be-in-August newlyweds! I was honored to photograph their engagement at some cute places in Appleton.  Parker happens to be my brother, so I am thrilled he found his forever love.  Carolyn, welcome to the family; we love you so much!

Seeing my brother SO happy makes me so happy :)

{TA Siegel Music}

It was a wonderful morning with my mother-in-law at our family's lake house, photographing her in her true element.  She is currently pursuing creating music with the tongue drum and it was neat to take pictures while she played.
