Baby Abigail!

Baby Abigail June is here! She arrived on June 28th (three weeks early!) and tipped the scale at 6lbs 1oz.  She is completely adorable- I mean, could her little face be any sweeter?

Abigail, I hope you can feel all of the love that surrounds you. You, dear girl, are destined for a wonderful life.

Hay Let's Party!

This bride and groom know how to throw an amazing party.  "Hay Let's Party!" (the couples' last name!) was the theme throughout the beautiful and fun marriage celebration on June 6 in downtown Madison.  From the bridal party stopping to relax at the Memorial Union Terrace after pictures, to the nonstop dancing, it was clear that Ali, Justin, and their family and friends were in the moment, enjoying the company of each other on this beautiful day.

Ali is a graduate of UW-Madison and moved to Texas soon after graduating.  She actually met her husband-to-be's brother and sister-in-law first, who suggested that Justin and Ali meet.  Justin was living in Mississippi at the time, but after their first meeting and some traveling back and forth, the two began dating and the rest is history! It was fitting that Ali and Justin came to Madison to host their wedding event at the beautiful University Club at the base of State Street. In the heart of the UW campus and the Union on Lake Mendota, these places have meaning to Ali and her family.

Ali and Justin wanted their wedding to be relaxed and fun for their guests, and oh my goodness, their group was so so so much fun!  The dancing and celebrating definitely went on into the late hours of the night- everyone was on the dance floor at one point or another!

Ali and Justin, please come back to Madison soon!  We need more parties hosted by wonderful couples like you.

Ali and Justin, it is clear how loved you are by your family and friends! Thank you for including us in your best day ever.

The Cutest Bump.

Angie is my best friend. I mean, the bestbestbestbest person and greatest friend I have ever had.  We met in kindergarten and were in the same Girl Scout Troop.  My family moved away in 4th grade but that didn't stop Angie and me from constant pen pal letters and sneaking in visits when we could.  We still have all of our letters that we wrote one another.  We lived together through college, have been maid/matron of honor in each other's weddings, and are now sharing in becoming mommas together.  Angie is by far the cutest pregnant lady I have ever seen, and Luke is just about the happiest dad-to-be.
I cannot wait to love up on this sweet baby when he or she comes into this world!

Baby Sadowsky, you are so loved already!
